Good to know
Will I see tools I don't need?
No. When you sign up you pick your type of business, and only the tools it usually needs are switched on. Add or remove any tool later from the Business page; turning one off hides it and keeps your records.
Can it handle recipes and production?
Yes. Keep raw materials, semi-finished items (dough, sauce, a wax blend) and finished products. Recipes can use semi-finished items, and a production run makes what's short first, then works out the real cost of each unit.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Spanish and French, in the app, on invoices and in reports. Pick your language at the bottom of the menu.
Do I need to know accounting?
No. You record sales, expenses, invoices and bills in plain words, and the app does the accounting underneath. If you or your accountant want the details, the journal, chart of accounts and trial balance are there too.
Is my data safe?
Your books are stored in a secure online database with encrypted connections and daily backups. Every record belongs to your account only; nobody else can see it unless you invite them. Important deletions ask for your password again.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, any time and on any plan: download everything you've stored in one file from the Business page, and print or export reports. You can also delete your account and all its data yourself.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Nothing is charged, because we never asked for a card. Your account moves to the Free plan and keeps all your records. Subscribe to Pro whenever you want the extra tools back.
Can I cancel Pro?
Yes, in two clicks, any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, then move to the Free plan with all your records.
Can my accountant use it?
Yes. On Pro, invite up to three people by email. They get their own login, can see everything and download reports, but can't change anything.
Which countries and currencies?
Any currency symbol works, and the app is made for small businesses in the United States first. It keeps your sales tax separate on invoices, but it doesn't file taxes for you.
I already have numbers from before. Can I start part way through the year?
Yes. Enter your opening balances: bank and cash, what customers owed you, what you owed suppliers, stock and equipment. Then carry on from there.
